This is the definition of a hole in the wall joint, in a gas station so divey, and cluttered, that they could film an episode of Hoarders in here. Yet, before you enter the pile, there is this tiny, very legit Cuban bakery with pastries and coffee that smoke past the living-on-memories Havana, down the street, or the more proper looking Tulipan, a couple of freeway exits North.
Empanadas that are perfectly made. Pandebono that’s light, not leaden. Lots of other well made adventures in coconut, or guava, await too!
The coffee? Truly the best Hispanic coffee I’ve had at any of the dozen, or so, joints that I’ve tried.
Parking is a nightmare, unless you’re stopping for gas. Hard to park the pump with an eCar. Worth the effort, though.
